Blue-Gray Invitational
The Headland High School Golf Team has been invited to participate in the 21st Annual Blue-Gray High School Invitational Golf Tournament which is an AHSAA sanctioned event sponsored by Saint James School in Montgomery. The event will be held on February 25th-26th. The first round wil be start at 10:00am on February 25th at Wynlakes Golf & Country Club located at 7900 Wynlakes Blvd, Montgomery, AL. The second round will be start at 8:00am on February 26th at Lagoon Park Golf Course located at 2855 Lagoon Park Drive, Montgomery, AL. It's Time to Play Golf!
What a beautiful time of the year for a round of golf with friends and family. The temperatures are mild, weather is great and the scenery is beautiful with all of fall foliage breaking out in beautiful hues of splashing yellow, harvest orange, and vibrant reds mixed in with the green pine trees. The course is in great shape so come out and have the time of your life!
Ryan Parish Places 3rd in AJGO Tournament
Ryan Parish placed third with a 76 (37-39) at the Alabama Junior Golf Association tournament held on June 14th at Highland Park Golf Course in Birmingham, Alabama. Jordan Rockett and Mitchell Sandlin tied for 1st with a round of 70. [Leaderboard]
HCC Annual Meeting
HCC Annual Meeting was held on Jan. 17th at the clubhouse. A new board of directors was elected. The new board are: President: Walter Gay, V. President: Willie Holman, Secretary-Treasurer K. V. Douglas, Directors: Perry Crews, Tim Grace, Jerry Hardy, Joe Masters, Randy Sanders and Todd Weeks. Roger Medley is the alternate.Pool is Open!
The pool is in good shape and people are swimming and having fun.
Charter Member L. J. Hardy Passes Away
L. J. Hardy, longtime member and one of the Headland Country Club Charter Members as well as a past President, passed away on Saturday, October 2nd. The entire Headland Country Club family extends its condolences to the family and it's appreciation for the long service that Mr. L. J. has given to the club over the past 50 years. He will be missed.
